Assembling of bikes upon arrival at the lodge. We will spend the afternoon enjoying a small single track loop in the surrounds of Durbanville. A lot of trail fun and new pump tracks await us on Meerendal Winery. The peak of Dorstberg will spoil us with fantastic 360º views of Table Mountain and Robben Island.
Explore Table Mountain and Lions Head’s endless trail network. The Rhodes Memorial - a national landmark - offers magnificent views of Cape Town and its surrounds. The views go past the airport and the Cape Flats to the Helderberg and Hottentots Holland Mountains . We will end the day with a mouthwatering meal at one of the many first class downtown eateries.
Super G, Lord of the Rings and WTF – just to name a few of the single tracks at Welvanpas. Trails start from the homonymous wine farm and take us through orchards, vineyards and untouched Protea fields, past waterfalls to the peak of Groenenberg. Get your adrenaline going while you take the steep Cool Runnings descent to the Kromme River. The second part of the route takes us towards Bainskloof Pass and from there back to the farm on flow tracks built into the steep slopes of the foothills of Bainskloof. 75 % of Day 5 consist of single trails . The breathtaking views explain why the farm is in the hands of the Retief family for 10 generations. Overnight stay at the same farm as the previous night.

Enjoy a last loop on the home grounds of our guide. Contermanskloof and the associated Tygerberg Mountainbike trails extend over several wine farms, forming a network of over 70 km of fun. Rocky trails, jeep tracks and sinuous switchbacks dominate the area. A magnificent way to end your trail safari. A top Enduro Bike Park framed by the Helderberg and Hottentots Holland Mountains stands on today's program – this is downhill and enduro flow at its best. The trail builder offers 4x4 shuttle service should you not have had enough after one downhill session.
Sprawling mountains dominate the landscape in this nature reserve. It is a mecca consisting of man made trails and sinuous downhill single switchbacks. After the great fires in March 2015 a lot of new created trails await us in 2016. Evening transfer to Wellington - overnight stay on a typical Cape Dutch Wine Farm at the foot of Welvanpas.
Morning transfer from Welvanpas to Eselsfontein. This route literally rocks! Two days of adventure in the Koue Bokkeveld Mountains - a mountain range which links Ceres and Citrusdal. MTB insiders call the 45 km single track Velocipede ecstasy. Encounters are rare, the trails are off the beaten track, the views fantastic and the rock formations impressive – to say the least. Back at the lodge, gaze into the starry night while chilling in front of the fire. Put your feet up, refuel and enjoy the African Experience!
Enjoy Chapmans Peak – one of the most scenic coastal roads in the world - on your saddle. The route leads from Hout Bay to Nordhoek. The shuttle will then take us up Table Mountain National Park into the Silvermine area. The 300m ascent to Silvermine ridge will be rewarded with gigantic views of Nordhoek Beach and Cape Point. From there, power down the singletrack to Tokai Forest. After the ride, relax in our van and enjoy the surrounds while we shuttle you through the Cape of Good Hope.
